About Lauren Jane Metalsmith

Finding inspiration in British flora and fauna, Lauren designs and handcrafts unique pieces of jewellery and metalwork from her workshop in Sheffield. Working predominantly with sterling silver to create each piece of jewellery, adding accents of 9ct gold and patination to add contrast, colour and individuality, while combining traditional silversmithing techniques to create intricate details and emotive designs entirely by hand. She also offers a bespoke design service focused on capturing sentiment and memories within each handcrafted piece. When working on commissions she works closely with her clients to design and create jewellery with a sentimentality they will cherish forever.
